The Boehs family has been involved in construction in the Helena-Goltry area since 1956, when Bob started as a construction helper. In 1976, Bob, along with his two sons, Doug and John, formed Boehs Construction and worked together until 1989. At that time, Bob bowed out of day-to-day management, John moved to Nebraska to farm and build, and Doug continued in the business. Doug and his wife, Geneva have 4 children, Cory, Seth, Mahlon and Jerilyn. Doug worked on the job with his boys doing the construction work until 1999 when he became a full-time Project Manager. Geneva has worked in the business since 1989, as bookkeeper, designer and draftsman. In 2005, Doug turned the day-to-day operation of Boehs Construction over to his brother-in-law, Bruce Schmidt, and started Boehs Building Supply together with Seth, Mahlon and Jerilyn. Cory worked as a framer and sales manager for Boehs Construction until 2007 when he started Kool Foam Insulation.  Doug continues with Boehs Construction in an advisory capacity, and Geneva is still drawing house plans. 

Boehs Construction has built up a large clientele in the surrounding area. Their projects have included new homes, house additions and remodels, window and door replacements, kitchen and bathroom remodels and light commercial structures.

They as a family have enjoyed the support of their community and customers and they have endeavored to provide quality and customer service. Their mission is to make the construction process a gratifying experience for all parties involved.
